Fontana, CA – August 15, 2024 – The Exchange Club of Fontana made a vibrant entrance into the high school community on Thursday night during the annual Back to School Night event. Held in the bustling quad area of the high school, the evening proved to be a fantastic opportunity for Vanessa Antekeier and Vicky Garcia from the Exchange Club to introduce the newly launched Excel Club, the high school counterpart of the Exchange Club.
The Excel Club aims to engage high school students in meaningful volunteer activities, offering them an avenue to contribute to the community while enhancing their college applications. Vanessa and Vicky set up a welcoming table adorned with information about the Excel Club and the broad range of volunteer opportunities available through the Exchange Club of Fontana.
As students and parents navigated through the quad area, many stopped by the Exchange Club’s table to learn more about the organization’s community initiatives and the benefits of joining the Excel Club. The event drew considerable interest, with numerous students excitedly signing up on the spot, eager to become involved and make a difference.
